Subject: AGENDA for US CMS HCAL meeting at FNAL (April 24 and 25)


Dear colleagues:


There will be an HCAL meeting at Fermilab on Thursday, April 24 and
Friday April 25. This again will be a working meeting, section by section
on the TDR. Participants will be expected to work on editing their
sections of responsibility immediately after discussion. The proposed 
agenda follows:

As you may remember, there is a 10% management reserve for HCAL. Please
let me know, if you have a suggestion for the spending of a part of this
money (e.g. order more HPD's, buy electronics, etc.). Remember that this is
R & D money to be spent towards furthering the HCAL design. It is not
for new initiatives.

Also all US HCAL IB representatives should prepare a brief description on
how they spent their allocation this fiscal year so far. One page for
the period October-December and another for January-March (2 quarterly
reports). A brief description of how remaining money will be spent is 
also useful.

Some time after the LHCC Open Presentation we will receive a list of
questions from the LHCC which will have to be answered. Once the
questions have been answered satisfactorily, we will be qpproved.
The earliest approval date is the LHCC meeting in September.
