PRACTICAL ARRANGEMENTS ====================== FLYING DIRECTIONS TO MADISON: Madison Airport (MSN) is serviced non-stop from Chicago (O'Hare) by United (Jets) and American (Turboprops), from Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Detroit (Jets) by Northwest, from Milwaukee by Midwest Express (Jets and Props) from St. Louis by TWA (Props), and from Cincinnati by Delta (ComAir Props). DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO MEETING FROM CHICAGO: To get to Madison, take Kennedy Northwest to I-90 Rockford. Keep going past Rockford into Wisconsin. Stay on I-90 until you reach the turnoff for Madison (left turn to highways 12 & 18 -- Exit 142 or so). Stay on this highway (Madison Beltline) until you reach the Park Street Turnoff. Turn right (North) on Park Street. Drive all the way up Park Street until you reach Johnson St. (2nd light after railway underpass). Turn right on Johnson St. Turn left at the next block on Lake St. (if you go too far, you can also turn left on Francis). Cross University Ave. and you will find a parking ramp on your right (left from Francis). Park there. Walk out of the ramp to University Ave. Turn right on University Ave. You will pass Park, Brooks, and Mills. The Physics Dept. is at 1150 University Ave. and is called Chamberlin Hall. If you reach Charter St., go back about 200 feet.
