2. Maps and directions

From the airport, take a taxi to Gate B of CERN. This is the main gate. For weekend arrival you pick up your Foyer (=hostel) room key at the guard house at Gate B (building 120). A relevant map is available at:

3. Money and car rentals

At the Geneva airport, as soon as you exit the baggage claim area, the Avis and other car rental desks are visible to your left in front of you. There are also ATM machines nearby the UBS bank that is across from the car rental places. You can use your home ATM card on these machines if it is CIRRUS or PLUS and you get Swiss Francs with minimal fee and good exchange rate.
